Injected they can typically last between 6 months to over a year.  The injection is done in the office usually with an anesthetic agent applied to the skin.  We recommend icing the area and resting the remainder of the day.  Full activity can be resumed the following day with any bruising or swelling covered with makeup.

The fillers we commonly use are Restylane, Radiesse, Juvederm and Perlane.  Autologous fat and other tissue can be used.
